OSM AWARDS NORTHERN CHEYENNE $26,564 TO ASSIST
	IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING

	The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and 
Enforcement (OSM) is providing the Northern Cheyenne Tribe with a 
$26,564 grant to help regulate the surface effects of coal mining on tribal 
lands in Montana.

	The grant assists in paying half of the Northern Cheyenne's 
inspection and enforcement costs, including equipment, supplies and 
transportation.
