U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining Fact Sheet May 30, 2002 OSM AWARDS NORTHERN CHEYENNE $26,564 TO ASSIST IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is providing the Northern Cheyenne Tribe with a $26,564 grant to help regulate the surface effects of coal mining on tribal lands in Montana.
