Office of Surface Mining Fact Sheet April 30, 2003 OSM AWARDS CROW TRIBE $62,102 TO ASSIST IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is providing the Crow Tribe with a $62,102 grant to help regulate the surface effects of coal mining on tribal lands in Montana. The grant assists in paying half of the Crow Tribe's inspection and enforcement costs, including equipment, supplies and transportation.
