	2001 Annual Report

The Office of Surface Mining 2001 Annual report is available in both electronic and printed format. For web site use the complete report is provided below in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format, and chapters that support easy downloading. A companion CD-ROM that contains all Office of Surface Mining Annual Reports (1978-2001), a 12 minute video program describing the 2001 award winning reclamation, a brief overview of the Office of Surface Mining, and information about an educational minng and reclamation poster is also available. The electronic copy is a color version of the original (black and white) printed report and contains hyper-links to additional web information. Both the CD-ROM and the traditional printed report are available at no cost upon request. The 2001 report includes both the Annual Report and Annual Financial Accountability Report, compiled to meet the requirements of Section 306 of the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990.
